WP24 Restaurant and Lounge will offer a fresh take on the classic Chinese style of cooking and eating with the launch of its Dim Sum Sunday dinner service. Beginning on September 25, the WP24 dining room will open from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., for a sumptuous family style dim sum dinner.
Dim sum is a Chinese staple in which guests enjoy a meal comprised of a variety of small plates, created for tasting and sharing. Wolfgang Puck, Chef Lee Hefter and WP24 Chef de Cuisine Sara Johannes have created a prix fixe menu featuring both WP24 favorites as well as dishes exclusive to this Sunday dinner.
The four-course dim sum feast will begin with an assortment of Chinese bites shared for the table including Honey Drizzled BBQ Pork Buns and Old Vinegar Peanuts. Next, a selection of three varieties of dim sum, followed by three entrees, then closing with a dim sum style dessert. Menu items will include Steamed Shu Mai with Blue Crab and Ginger Sauce, Singapore Style Chili Prawns and Organic Jidori Chicken Chow Fun Noodles. Guests will have the option of adding additional entrées for a supplemental cost such as Alaskan King Crab Dumplings, Peking Style Duck Two Ways and Korean Grilled Lamb Chops.
The four-course family-style Dim Sum Sunday dinner will be priced at $55/person (excluding tax, gratuity and beverage) with additional entrées offered at $10/person or $20/person. A wine and cocktail special will be offered for $8/person every Sunday evening.
