UPDATE: Patina Group Hosts the Royal Couple
Patina Catering crafted the British/American menu for the Royal couple and 280 guets while they were in Los Angeles! This 3-course menu blended British tradition with a touch of California flare designed for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and 280 guests including Nicole Kidman, Tom Hanks, Barbra Streisand, Jennifer Lopez, Jack Black and Jennifer Garner. The Patina group was chosen to cater this A-list event as a result of the company’s reputation for impeccable service and culinary innovation, their outstanding wait-staff, and their ability to seamlessly coordinate large-scale sit down dinner events.
Courgette and mint tian with lemon and pine nut gremolata and shaved manchego, garnished with courgetter blossom flower.
Filet of beef with creamed leeks, pickled spring garlic, asparagus, turnip, baby onions, potato fondant, and red wine sauce.
English rose meringue served with fresh picked strawberries and cream.
Opera chocolate cake with a touch of gold leaf.

With the feeling of being under the sea, eating at The Sea Grill restaurant at Rockefeller Center was a wonderful experience. Part of the Patina group with famed Chef Joachim Splichal, this elegant restaurant will please all the seafood lovers who crave fresh fish. The room was surrounded with beautiful glass that truly made the atmosphere one of a kind. I was accompanied by Steve Valentine and Denice Fladeboe which made this a Bikini Lifestyle dinner. Executive Chef Jawn Chasteen, whose philosophy is to serve the freshest seafood possible, prepared for us a fourteen course meal that blew us all away. We started this extravagant meal with beer battered Tempura Oysters with Honey Mustard. Following that, Yellowfin Tuna Tartare and Fuji apples that was topped with Wasabi-Miso Vinaigrette. This meal was definitely starting off the right way. So beautiful and exquisite. Soft shell crab with dijon came out next. I was enjoying the food and the atmosphere of this gorgeous restaurant. The rest of our meal included crab avocado, local black sea bass, and some Florida snapper. For the dessert courses of this fancy meal, a variety of flavors were put onto our plates. Passion fruit souffle with coconut sorbet, key lime pie, strawberry rhubarb soup and basil sorbet were a delicious end to this meal. The Sea Grill lives up to Executive Chef Jawn Chasteen philosophy by serving amazingly fresh seafood that is truly delectable.
