Breadbar West Third and guest chef Noriyuki Sugie unveil a brand new Cold Ramen Consommé ($15) in addition to his beef-centric “Ramen Bull” dinner series. Available exclusively at the West Third location every Monday – Saturday from 5-10 p.m., this new culinary concept is Chef Nori’s contemporary take on Japan and China’s most iconic traditional street fare-ramen. Every ramen dish (from the soup and protein menu) will showcase all-beef product. Offering Angelenos a value-driven menu of hot soups, sides, and housemade sodas, guests will be able to slurp up steaming bowls of Short Rib Ramen ($11); Oxtail Ramen ($15), Beef Tongue Ramen ($12); Spicy Ramen ($14); and Corn Beef Ramen ($13). Garnishes for all the ramen bowls will include Soy-marinated Poached Eggs, Mushrooms, and Scallions. All dishes will be entirely MSG-free, and all the beef soups will be made with an original blend of housemade spices. To accompany the ramen, diners can also select from a variety of gourmet sides and toppings ($2-8) such as Bone Marrow; Oxtail; Short Rib; Beef Tongue; Fried Shishitou Pepper; Spiced Ground Beef, and Marinated Poached Egg. To wash it all down, the menu will also feature a selection of specialty sodas ($5 each) including housemade Hibiscus Tea Soda, Ginger Beer, Root Beer, and Pineapple Soda. Keeping diners cool through LA’s summer months, this refreshing new addition will be available at the artisanal bakery-bistro’s West Third Street location through the series culmination on Friday, September 30, 2011.
